"One spring day in 1970 I had an infected tooth, very painful. I was a young woman of 18, just out on my own, new in town and didn't know many people. I looked in the phone book for a local dentist and Dr. Nader just happened to be listed and close. I made the appointment and went to the office. One chair, one dentist, one office manager and I had my tooth taken care of. I needed extensive dental work, as I had not been looked after in my teenage years. Dr. Nader helped me regain my dental health during the next few months. He needed to extract several teeth. He knew I lived alone and had no one to check in on me. Later in the evening as I was resting, the phone rang. Dr. Nader was calling to make sure I was feeling alright and that no usual symptoms were presenting themselves. I was impressed with his caring attitude. He was very kind and gentle when working with me and was always making sure I was comfortable before proceeding. Arrangements were made for small payments as I was getting my dental work done. Insurances had not been in place as I was a young person in the work arena. I valued this since many people would not give a young person a chance in life to start with. All of you I'm sure had the same experiences one time or another. The two factors of checking on me and helping me with financial arrangements so I could continue to work and live without to much hardship, showed me there were good people in the world. I was fortunate enough to walk into the office of my very first good person, Dr. Howard C. Nader DDS. Today, 35 years later, I am still fortunate to be under the services of Dr. Nader, Dottie, his associate Dr. Resek and all of the wonderful support staff in his office.
