A—Always Floss Once A Day
Some people skip the flossing routine, but really it is very necessary for healthy teeth. The spaces between teeth make ideal traps for plaque, and a toothbrush cannot usually reach these areas. Flossing will rub the plaque off of teeth and strengthen the gums.
B—Brush Teeth Twice A Day
Brushing your teeth twice a day using a soft-bristle toothbrush and fluoride toothpaste is necessary for having healthy teeth. Water cannot clean plaque from teeth, only brushing can. Tooth brushing not only protects your dental health, but it makes your teeth look nice and helps your breath smell good.
C—Check-Up With Your Dentist
Your dentist can see problems that develop in the mouth, sometimes even before you start experiencing any symptoms. It is important to see your dentist every 6 months so they can check your teeth and treat any problems before they become too serious. Your mouth will also receive professionally cleaning during a visit to the dentist.
